Cabinet Refacing updates and restyles your existing cabinets to
give the kitchen a whole new "look". We remove your
current doors and drawers and replace them with new solid wood
doors and drawer fronts custom made for your kitchen. We then
cover the existing cabinet endpanels with new plywood and the
faceframes with real wood veneer. Or, if you prefer, we can use
the materials made of Rigid Thermal Foil (RTF) or laminate.
We offer 45 door styles, 19 different wood/stain choices, as well
as RTF and laminate. We have available a variety of color options
to achieve the exact look you want. In addition, we can customize
the inside of your cabinets with rollouts and organizing accessories
to make your restyled kitchen look and feel brand new!

when selling or appraising the home.
Kitchen Tune-Up® offers a wide selection of doors. Made from
the finest select woods available, KTU's doors are crafted with
a solid wood frame and a solid wood or plywood center panel. All

What is cabinet refacing?
Unlike cabinet replacement, refacing can give your kitchen a whole new look in 2-4 days. Kitchen Tune-Up® offers several different ways to reface cabinets. The most common method is to remove your existing door and drawer fronts and replace them with new door and drawer fronts, custom made for your kitchen. We then cover your existing cabinet end panels with plywood and the face frames with a real wood veneer.
Is it messy and time consuming?
No, generally speaking most refacing jobs can be done in 2-4 days. We clean up at the end of each day, so you never lose use of your plumbing and cooking areas. You can use your kitchen every evening!
What type of wood species can I choose from?
Kitchen Tune-Up® offers oak, maple, cherry, hickory, alder, ash, and walnut.
Can I pick my own door style and color?
Yes. We have virtually an unlimited selection of stain colors and door styles. Our mobile kitchen consultants will use your input and their expertise to help craft the kitchen of your dreams.
What is RTF?
RTF stands for Rigid Thermo Foil. RTF comes in many different colors and also simulated wood grain. Our RTF doors have an incredible real wood look and feel, with beautiful graining and even glazes!
If your kitchen is a high traffic area and receives a lot of wear and tear, RTF may be the right choice for you.
Can I add cabinets if I need more space?
Yes! We can add cabinets that will match the doors you choose. We can even organize and customize the insides of your existing cabinets, with items like rollout trays and pantry units. Rollout trays can help you with those hard to reach pots, pans and can goods. Check out our Accessories page. |
